Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin catches two passes in Wild Card Round.

Bersin gained 27 yards on his two receptions, working as a reliable target for Cam Newton on shallow crossing routes. The 2012 undrafted free agent seemed to always stepped up when called upon for the Panthers this season, and he seems likely to remain with the team in 2018.

Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin caught two passes for 36 yards in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.

Bersin has had a bigger role recently, but he finishes the regular season with just eight receptions for 128 yards. He will look to make some plays in the postseason for Carolina.

Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin leads Panthers in receiving on Sunday.

Bersin caught three passes for 45 yards, as Cam Newton threw for just 160 yards in the win to clinch a playoff berth. Fantasy owners shouldn't consider playing Bersin in their quest to claim a title in Week 17.

Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin catches 17-yard pass in win over the Vikings.

It was his only reception of the game, but it was a big one that he somehow held onto after being flipped on his head/neck. Bersin isn't a fantasy option on a low-volume passing attack.

Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin makes 18-yard reception in Week 13 loss.

It was his only catch of the game. Bersin has just two receptions for 30 yards this season, so he's obviously not a fantasy option down the stretch.

Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin catches one pass against the Dolphins.

Bersin took immediate advantage when he was put in on offense, snatching a slant route on a bullet from Cam Newton for a 12-yard gain. Bersin has stuck around with the Panthers for the last four seasons and remains ready to contribute on offense if necessary, but he's more of a core special teams contributor for now and not a fantasy option.
