Brian Quick | Redskins WR

The Redskins re-signed wide receiver Brian Quick.

The big and fast receiver will likely mix in on offense behind Josh Doctson, Paul Richardson, and Jamison Crowder this season, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option as long as he isn’t in a starting role.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Brian Quick plays very well in Redskins' victory.

With Jamison Crowder (hamstring) out, Quick got more work than usual for the Redskins, and he kind of also worked as a de facto bigger target over the middle with Jordan Reed (hamstring) also out. Quick caught all three targets, gaining 49 yards against the Seahawks. It's possible Quick surpasses Terrelle Pryor and Ryan Grant in the receiving corps of the Redskins, but we'll see what happens moving forward.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Brian Quick catches two passes for 19 yards in Week 3 of the preseason.

The former Rams receiver got open in the end zone late in the game, but he dropped a would-be touchdown from Colt McCoy. Quick did an excellent job of getting his feet in bounds at the back of the end zone, but he appeared to look down at the feet and it caused him to drop the ball. This Thursday could be a big game for Quick, as he attempts to make Washington's final roster.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Quick leads the team in catches for preseason opener.

The 28-year-old caught three passes for 20 yards as the Redskins struggled to move the ball. Quick has shown flashes in the past, and he would be in a good spot if he can earn a backup role with Washington, which he should be on track to do.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim believes receiver Brian Quick is on the roster bubble.

Multiple reports have stated Quick didn't look great during spring practices, and head coach Jay Gruden talked up receiver Ryan Grant. Terrelle Pryor, Jamison Crowder, Josh Doctson, and Grant are likely locked into the top four receiver spots, but Quick will still have a chance to make the roster if he plays well throughout training camp and the preseason. Quick is a size/speed receiver that has shown he can make plays in the NFL.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Brian Quick agreed to a deal with the Redskins, according to Ian Rapoport.

Quick is a height/weight/speed receiver that showed flashes in his five seasons with the Rams after being the 33rd pick in the 2012 draft. He'll have a chance to get some good playing time in a Redskins receiving group that lost DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garçon. Quick shouldn't be drafted in 2017 fantasy drafts, aside from deep leagues.

Brian Quick catches three passes for 46 yards against Seattle.

He also nearly had a touchdown on a go/fade route, but it was just off his fingertips. Quick is an uninspiring FLEX option in Week 16 against SF.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Brian Quick catches only one pass for ten yards against Atlanta.

He should stay on the waiver wire.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Brian Quick caught five passes for 48 yards in Sunday's loss.

It was a nice game considering Jared Goff completed just 14 passes. Still, Quick can stay on the waiver wire.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Brian Quick catches three passes for 21 yards in Week 11.

Quick is best left on the waiver wire for now.

Brian Quick | Redskins WR

Brian Quick has quiet Week 10 against NYJ.

Quick had two catches for 16 yards. It's his worst game since Week 2 against Seattle. Quick is still averaging 16.2 yards per catch on the season and has been productive for the Rams. You should be able to do better, but he's an OK FLEX option.
