Demetrius Harris catches two passes in Chiefs' playoff loss.
Travis Kelce unfortunately went down with a concussion at the end of the first half, so Harris had to step into a bigger role than usual for Kansas City. Harris gained 22 yards on his two receptions, coming up clutch late in the game with his team attempting to drive for a go-ahead score, but his season is now over. The big tight end should be back next season as a key backup behind Kelce on offense.
Demetrius Harris caught three passes for 73 yards in Sunday's win over Denver.
Harris' 51-yard reception was the longest play of the day, and he finishes the regular season with 18 receptions for 224 yards and one score in 16 games (seven starts). He'll be a big-bodied presence in the playoffs for Alex Smith.
Demetrius Harris gets seven targets in Chiefs' win.
The big tight end caught four passes for 34 yards in the Week 16 victory over the Dolphins. He's a very good backup to Travis Kelce, but Harris' role isn't big enough to be a fantasy option.
Demetrius Harris catches one pass in Week 15.
Harris had a seven-yard reception against the Chargers. He could've had a touchdown on a perfect pass in the end zone by Alex Smith, but he was kind of falling backwards and couldn't come up with it. Harris isn't a fantasy option behind Travis Kelce.
Demetrius Harris catches 25-yard pass in Week 14 win.
It was his only reception of the game. Harris isn't a fantasy option behind Travis Kelce.
Demetrius Harris catches two passes in Week 12.
Harris gained 33 yards on his two receptions, including a long of 28 on a pass down the field. The big tight end isn't a reliable fantasy option behind Travis Kelce, as his role just isn't big enough.
Demetrius Harris drops touchdown in Week 8.
The Chiefs were up and the game was pretty much in hand, but Harris got deep and dropped a perfect pass to the end zone from Alex Smith. Harris will continue to get time as the second tight end behind Travis Kelce, but his role isn't big enough to be a reliable fantasy option.
Demetrius Harris catches two passes in Week 7.
Harris had 16 yards on his two receptions in Kanas City's Thursday night loss to Oakland. He's not a reliable fantasy option at the moment, despite his contributions to the Chiefs.
Demetrius Harris catches three passes in Week 5.
Harris gained 21 yards on his three receptions against the Texans. If Travis Kelce (evaluated for a concussion) misses any time, Harris would be in the TE1 conversation.
Demetrius Harris scores first Chiefs touchdown of 2017.
The big tight end scored at 13-yard touchdown when he basically ran a curl route and boxed out Patriots safety Devin McCourty while Alex Smith put the ball right on him. Harris had two receptions for 15 yards and the touchdown total in the game. Harris is only a fantasy option if you are in an extremely deep touchdown-only league.
Demetrius Harris catches two touchdowns in preseason win against the Bengals.
The big tight end had three receptions for 14 yards and two touchdowns. The 6'7" former basketball player can be quite the weapon in the red zone, as he showed in the game. However, it's unlikely he can be trusted in fantasy lineups as long as he's behind starter Travis Kelce on the depth chart.
Demetrius Harris reportedly arrested for marijuana possession.
The Kansas City Star reports Harris was arrested yesterday afternoon after he was a passenger in a pulled over vehicle and had marijuana in his possession. Harris apparently had over 35 grams on him, which is a felony in Missouri, but The Kansas City Star reports that the police say he was cooperative, which is obviously a positive. This is not great news for Harris and the Chiefs, who will almost certainly be facing a suspension, or legally, worse.
Demetrius Harris catches touchdown from Dontari Poe.
You read that correctly. Kansas City's 346 lbs. nose tackle came in at the goal line and threw a jump pass to Harris who was wide open in the endzone. Poe is the heaviest player to throw a touchdown in NFL history, so Harris will have his name on the receiving end of that one. Harris had six catches for 37 yards in the game, and is a good compliment to the Chiefs offense, but not a good fantasy option.
