Jacquizz Rodgers gets two touches in Week 17 win.
Rodgers caught two passes for 20 yards. He entered the season as the starter due to Doug Martin's suspension, but the 27-year-old didn't do much for fantasy owners with 64 carries for 244 yards and one touchdown in 2017. He probably won't be a factor in 2018.
Jacquizz Rodgers gets three carries against Green Bay.
Doug Martin was out with a concussion, but it was Peyton Barber's (27 touches) backfield in the Week 13 loss. Rodgers did gain 25 yards on his three attempts, including a long of 19 yards, but he's not a recommended fantasy option even if Martin remains out moving forward.
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed eight times for 31 yards in Sunday's loss to the Falcons.
He also caught a six-yard pass. Rodgers saw extended playing time when Doug Martin left the game with a concussion, but Peyton Barber was the one who converted a couple goal-line looks. Whether or not Martin is cleared for Week 13, Rodgers won't be a good fantasy option against Green Bay.
Jacquizz Rodgers handles four touches in Week 6 loss.
Rodgers rushed three times for one yard and caught a six-yard pass. With Doug Martin back, Rodgers isn't worth rostering in fantasy leagues.
Jacquizz Rodgers gets four touches in Week 5.
Rodgers started the game and received the first carry, but Doug Martin came off the bench in his first game back and brought a lot of juice off the bench. Rodgers ended up with three carries for two yards and one reception for 13 yards. There's little question Martin will be the guy in the backfield moving forward, so Rodgers is fine to drop in fantasy leagues.
Jacquizz Rodgers totals 108 yards in Week 4 win.
Rodgers rushed 16 times for 83 yards and caught two passes for 25 yards. He might have one more week as the starter if Doug Martin is inactive on a short week as he returns from suspension, but Rodgers probably doesn't need to be rostered in fantasy leagues if you aren't going to use him in Week 5. It's worth seeing if you can buy low on Martin before he steps foot on the field.
Jacquizz Rodgers carries five times in Week 3.
Rodgers had five carries for 15 yards, as the Vikings didn't allow the Bucs to do anything on the ground. Tampa Bay did abandon the running game, though, so there weren't many opportunities there. Rodgers is still in the FLEX conversation against a Giants defense that has been gashed on the ground recently, but there are probably better options.
Jacquizz Rodgers leads Buccaneers backfield to open their season.
With Doug Martin suspended, Rodgers worked as the starter and carried 19 times for 67 yards and a touchdown versus the Bears. Peyton Barber (ten carries, 47 yards) probably outplayed Rodgers, but look for Rodgers to lead the backfield again in Week 3 against the Steelers. He's a FLEX option despite the difficult matchup.
Jacquizz Rodgers gets the start in Bucs' third preseason game
Rodgers rushed 10 times for 34 yards and caught a 17-yard pass. Tampa Bay likely did this to get the offense ready for the regular season without Doug Martin (whom came in later and had four touches), as Martin is fully expected to be the starter when he's back from his three-game suspension. Anyone hoping to draft Rodgers as a 16-game starter will likely be disappointed.
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed three times for four yards in Thursday night's preseason game.
Rodgers also caught a two-yard pass. Some in the fantasy community are convinced that Jacquizz could take the full-time starting job while Doug Martin is suspended, but we don't see any way that will be the case. Currently going in the 14th round of fantasy drafts, Rodgers is going about where he should.
Rodgers sees work with first-team offense in Bucs' first exhibition.
The team is preparing for life without Doug Martin (for the first three games of the regular season) by giving the presumed fill-in some run with Jameis Winston and the rest of the starters. Rodgers rushed three times for 11 yards and caught a five-yard pass last night, and one of the carries came near the goal line. The coaching staff seems to really like him dating back to last year, so Jacquizz should already have the early-season starter role locked up.
Tampa Bay is expected to re-sign Jacquizz Rodgers, according to Jenna Laine.
The Bucs seem to like Rodgers after they gave him carries at the expense of both Doug Martin and Charles Sims last season. Depending on what happens to Doug Martin and what else the Bucs do, Rodgers could possibly start for the Bucs next season. If so, he'd be a top 20 running back in 2017 drafts.
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed 17 times for 75 yards in Sunday's season finale.
Rodgers closed the season as the starter with Doug Martin's issues. Seeing some big workloads down the stretch, he rushed 129 times for 560 yards (4.3 YPC) and two touchdowns this season. Tampa Bay could be signing or drafting a running back this offseason, and Rodgers probably will not be a fantasy factor in 2017.
Jacquizz Rodgers fills in.
Jacquizz Rodgers had 15 carries for 63 yards and a touchdown in an unexpected start over Doug Martin. Martin was a healthy scratch for Tampa—obviously Tampa isn't happy with his sub-3.0 yards per carry on the season, and Rodgers got more work than Charles Sims. If Rodgers starts again next week to conclude the season, he would be a solid RB2.
