Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks catches four passes in Packers' loss.

Kendricks gained 36 yards on his four receptions, and his nine targets tied a team high. He had a drop on a slant route for a would-be first down on a night the Packers struggled with drops. Kendricks isn't a fantasy option right now.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks gets five targets against the Browns.

Kendricks caught two passes for 11 yards in the Week 14 victory. Even with Aaron Rodgers likely to return next week, Kendricks isn't a reliable fantasy option.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks catches one pass in Week 13.

Kendricks gained 11 yards on his lone reception. His role isn't big enough to be a fantasy option at the moment.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks catches one pass in win over the Bears.

It went for nine yards. Kendricks should split work with Richard Rodgers for the rest of the season, but neither is a fantasy option.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks catches two passes against the Lions.

Kendricks gained 32 yards on his two receptions (three targets). He's a good contributor in real life, but Kendricks isn't a reliable fantasy option even if Martellus Bennett is out of the lineup for the Packers.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks catches one pass in Week 5.

Kendricks caught a 24-yarder on the second-longest play of the game for Green Bay. He's not on the fantasy radar because his role is not big enough for the Packers.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks catches one pass in Week 4.

Kendricks' reception didn't go for any yards. He'll probably help the Packers in real life more than he'll help your fantasy team right now.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks the tight end to own in Green Bay?

Kendricks caught two passes for 52 yards and one touchdown in the Packers' win over the Bengals, as Martellus Bennett was held to just 12 yards. The score was a one-yarder where he was uncovered, and he also had a 51-yard reception. As Bennett continues to struggle, Kendricks might see more playing time at his expense. Both are risky, but Kendricks might actually be the recommended fantasy play if you're going to play one of them against the Bears on Thursday night.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

Lance Kendricks catches two passes in Week 1.

Kendricks had 18 yards on his two receptions. He's going to have a role at the tight end position alongside Marcellus Bennett, but he'll help the Packers more than your fantasy team.

Lance Kendricks | Packers TE

The Packers will use more two-tight end sets this season.

Head coach Mike McCarthy told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero there will be a "definite increase" in the use of two tight ends on offense, which will help create more potential gaps in the running game while keeping the flexibility of having one of the tight ends flex out wide. Free agent additions Martellus Bennett and Lance Kendricks—who could also provide some fantasy value with Aaron Rodgers throwing to him—should provide an upgrade in run blocking at the tight end position, which should be good news for the entire offense. McCarthy also recently talked of the importance of running the football. It looks like the Packers will attempt to be a balanced offense this season, something that should help the defense and help take pressure off Aaron Rodgers.

Tight end Lance Kendricks is signing with the Packers, according to Adam Schefter and Rob Demovsky.

The Packers just signed Martellus Bennett yesterday, but they aren't done. Kendricks will be added to a very deep tight end group for Green Bay. Kendricks went to college at Wisconsin, so that was likely part of the reason he wanted to play for the Packers. He won't be a good fantasy option next season, but will help out the Packers offense.
