‘MLB The Show 18’ Releases Gameplay Trailer, Game Info, and Screenshots

The day after the Super Bowl and at the conclusion of football season, PlayStation decided it was a good time to reveal more information about its upcoming MLB The Show 18 video game, releasing the first gameplay trailer for the game:

In addition to the gameplay trailer, 11 screenshots were released, including of last year’s cover athlete, Ken Griffey Jr., and this year’s cover athlete, Aaron Judge. All 11 screenshots can be viewed here.

It looks like MLB The Show is looking to build on all of its modes, including franchise mode, which might get the most overhaul and is promising “More Control. Less Time.” Also, there are going to be more legends added this year, including, as shown in the trailer, Babe Ruth. More information will be released throughout February and March leading up to the game’s release.

Video game franchises don’t get much more steady than MLB The Show, and this year’s version of the game should be another solid outing for PlayStation.

MLB The Show 18 will be available on March 23 for those that pre-order the game, and it will be available on March 27 those that do not pre-order.
